Alongside screenwriting I have forged a career as a script editor and drama development executive. I trained at the National Film & Television School (NFTS) and went on to work in drama production and development at the BBC and at various award-winning indies, learning from veteran script editors, producers, and showrunners. I have a sharp editorial mind and an empathic approach to note-giving and all aspects of creative collaboration. I work across all genres and format lengths. I've experience both of US-style writers rooms on major returning series, and of single-writer focused development more typical of the UK industry (and everything in between).

 

In 2024, I continue to freelance as a development consultant for film and scripted television.
